This year the Traverse Area Paddle Club will be partnering with the Grand Traverse County Senior Center Network for a series of Tuesday morning kayak outings on West Bay (except during the National Cherry Festival).  Each trip will have a host from the TAPC, but signups will be taken by the Senior Center.  If the weather on a particular day is unsuitable for paddling, you will receive a call or email notification.

The group will depart from the Senior Center Beach for a 60 - 90 minute trip, and afterwards, we can have a picnic lunch on the beach or else go out to eat.  All levels are welcome.  Participants must provide their own kayak, paddle and PFD.

This week's host will be Babs Winckler.

Note that the beach is on West Grand Traverse Bay at the foot of Barlow Street. If you are driving from the west side of town, you are not allowed to turn left from Front Street onto Barlow. Either head up from the south on Barlow, where you can drive across Front, or come from the east, where you can make a right turn towards the Bay.
