Our plan is to paddle the Jordan from Graves Crossing to Webster Road. There should be tons of marsh marigolds, so bring your camera since there will likely be some good photo ops. Actual paddling time should be about 2 hours.
Given the possibility of tight turns and downed trees, you will need to be able to maneuver your boat sideways across the stream using back ferries. If you are not comfortable making quick turns, it's best to practice these skills on an easier river and wait until warmer weather to paddle the Jordan. If you have any questions about the trip, just give us a call.
Everyone should bring a boat, paddle, PFD, ropes to tie on the bow and stern, waterproof bag with a complete change of clothing, water bottle and a snack. Don't forget your sunhat and sunglasses with a retainer. And have a change of clothes and shoes in the vehicle so you can be nice and dry on your way home.
