Come join us for a afternoon trip on the Boardman, only 30 minutes from downtown TC. You will marvel at the remote feeling you get without going very far from home.
We will meet at the Forks Access and run the shuttle at 11:30. Please be ready. We have not ran this river sice the flood so don't know what we will run into. We have been told it is clear but don't know how well. We'll take a short break for a stretch and a snack at the horse beach, and proceed downstream through the new section of the river that has replaced Brown Bridge Pond.
There are several fun riffles along the way. It's a good place to practice maneuvering in current and practicing back ferries.
Paddling time should be about 3 hours. Bring your usual paddling gear, ropes for the bow and stern, a water bottle and a snack.
