We are posting this trip to make up for not being able to paddle this section of the Boardman the past two weekends. The river is running high and fast (as of May 31) and it could be dangerous to try to get under all the personal bridges. Hopefully, the water level and discharge will have returned to normal levels, so we'll be able to see whatever debris exists (we hope there won't be much). This way we can actually pick stuff up, and can still run a safe trip for anyone who wants to assist in the effort.
Note: we plan to run the shuttle at 9:30. Bring your usual paddling gear and a grabber stick. If you don't own one, I have extras - let me know if you need to borrow one. Don't forget ropes for the bow and stern of your boat, and your PFD. I will bring a few big trash bags; please bring some small ones.
