The last 2 tries for this trip were foiled by nasty weather, so we hope "third time's the charm!" Fall colors are starting to show, and this slow, shallow river (with a paddle along the shore of Loon Lake) is a great place for a cool-weather paddle before stowing your boat for the winter. The shuttle is short, and the paddle time is less than 2 hours. Optional lunch to follow at Papa J's in Honor, or another restaurant of the group's choice.
