For the visitors to this site: Bring shoes suitable for immersion that will protect your feet. If you wear glasses use croakies to secure them. Sunscreen and/or suitable clothing for sun protection is highly recommended.

If you have a grabber stick, bring it to use. Also, gloves to protect your hands are useful.

Join with Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes and organizers/Adopt a River members Denny Becker and Matt Wiesen to clean up the Crystal River.

Meet on Monday, May 21st at 10:00 am at Crystal River Outfitters (across from the bike shop on M-22 in Glen Arbor).

A short orientation for volunteers and a brush up on "kayaking for clean-ups" will be held before we start at making the Crystal River a bit more pleasant.

In case of rain on May 21st, this cleanup will be scheduled on Tuesday, May 22nd.
