Everyone must have their PFD in their boat or on their body. The river is generally quite mild but crossing the lake can become a bit of a challenge in the event of wind/waves.
Please be at the put in by 1:30 PM and be prepared to shuttle promptly at 1:45 PM.

Lower Platte early spring river trip. Each person must bring and wear their PFD. Dress in layers, bring a hat, sunglasses with retainer, dry bag with change of dry clothes, water, snacks. We'll stop at the weir for a brief potty break. Parking pass is required for your car.
This trip takes approximately 3.5 hours from preparing our boats to packing up after the paddle including a stop at the weir. Be prepared for possible change in weather. In the event of heavy rain this trip will be rescheduled.

Meet at the put in no later than 1:30 PM and be prepared to shuttle promptly at 1:45 PM.

Those who choose will meet for dinner at the Platte River Inn in Honor after the trip.
