The four of us, Tracy, Melody, Brad and myself set out promptly at 7:00. We enjoyed seeing first one loon and then a group of five diving for breakfast. They then serenaded us as we passed them. The water was perfectly calm and flat, perfect for our paddle. As we got towards the southern end of the lake, the weeds and shallow dark water started grossing some of us out so we turned around and went up the west shoreline checking out the condos. We returned to see the kids arriving for instruction on sailing before heading out on the water. It was a great way to start the day.
