Shumsky to Beitner
Seven people gathered today to hunt for, reach for, grab for and get wet
while capturing garbage from shores and bottom of the river.
At first we thought it would be an easy, short day but many of treasures where
submerged deep in the riverbed. Three hours later we took out at Beitner Landing
with multiple bags of garbage, Becky's redwood table top and Ron's new
sign for his Boardman River property, "Caution: Bridge Out".
We did find some large dock sections that we marked with our
GPS camera iPhone.
NOTE: The BRCS thanks Ann Riechert and Jim Batsakis for taking on this
section cleanup without being asked to. It was a huge help to us.
The removal of the docks you found will be worked on later this summer.
