The colors won't be out quite yet, but we may see some tinges along the way. This section of the big Manistee is wide & normally not much maneuvering is required. Now is the time to bring your fall paddling dump bag, maybe dress a little warmer & try out those Choata's or Boundry boots you may have ordered. We will have an afternoon start to take advantage of the warmest part of the day. Please have an early lunch beforehand, but bring a snack, there will be a rest stop or two as the group requires. Plan to be ready to run the shuttle by 12:30pm
