Where did you go? County Line Rd to Fred's Landing
What kind of boats were there? Lois and John in solo canoes, Karen and Judy in kayaks.
Anything noteworthy? Very warm with fog on the river much of the way. Very pretty!! We had to portage one log and lift over another but with John's guidance, we all made it around and over. The river was “truckin along” (per John) and the water was high and murky with all the recent rain but was cool and refreshing. There was one unauthorized swim break while we were all chatting and one paddler didn't quite make it under a log but with temps in the 80's it was not a problem! In our opinion, this was the only place to be on this hot and humid day!
