Seven took advantage of the post Labor Day release of the need for permits: Wayne and Leslie in a tandem canoe; Sara in her solo; Susan, Gerald, Kathleen and Jacqui in kayaks. The weather was exactly what we would have wished for - the best that September has to offer. The sun warmed us up quickly from a very chilly start and never got too hot for comfort. The river was very low, the main challenge was in choosing a track that avoided the gravel bars!
