Marv and Marlene met John and me at Spark's Restaurant in Mesick at noon, and after a nice hot lunch, we headed for Hodenpyl Dam and the Manistee River. Though the temperatures were in the 40's, it was bright and sunny with no wind, so it felt a lot warmer. Fall colors and river reflections were stupendous! A wonderful afternoon tour - our only disappointment was that more folks weren't able to join us.
