Oct 22 Golden tamaracks on the Boardman

Published on 10/22/2009

Though it was cloudy & only in the 40s, we hit the jackpot of GOLD! The Boardman, from the Forks to the Quiet Area, was lined with golden tamaracks. I've seen a few in recent yrs, but never more than a hundred, like today. It was a birthday blessing, to be able to share this spectacle with my friends, John & Lois, Roseanne, Jocelyn, Marv & Marlene, Mike & Barb, Angie, and Doug. What a special day! As I mentioned to them, the only way it could have been better would have been if we'd had warm sunshine!   By Sara Cockrell
