Muskegon River M66 to Evart- Come paddle a section of river in Marv and Marlene's back yard. From Canoeing Michigan Rivers . The river in this section becomes quicker, with light riffles occurring more often than the section above. It's a 10 mile trip taking 3-5 hours. It looks like " Sears Bridge Swimming" area would be a good rest stop about half way. I've heard " Why haven't we ever paddled the Muskegon" to mostly hear the answer " I don't know". So here I go, Let's see what it is like.
