How was it?
Gorgeous! Trillium and marsh marigolds were out, and leaves in trees. Too bad there is so much trash left by fishermen, both cans and bottles as well as an overabundance of fishing line in the overhanging trees.
What kind of boats were there?
All plastic kayaks
Anything noteworthy?
Barb said it was the most leisurely paddle she had ever been on. There were a handful of places that required maneuvering, but nothing that our crew had difficulty handling. Plenty of time to chat, both on the river as well as at lunchtime at Clancy's Kitchen (love those sweet potato fries)!
