Where did you go? Forks to Brown Bridge Pond
What kind of boats were there? All kayaks except Bob in his solo canoe. Marv was using his new Perception Carolina!
What a beautiful day on our hometown river! We started after lunch at the Forks campground and took our time paddling downstream. We didn't see much wildlife on the river but did see a fawn in the road while running the shuttle. We picked up some “easy” pieces of trash while paddling, with Bob leading this effort.
Upon reaching the pond we were able to spot the channel which skirts the right shore. It makes for a little longer trip across the pond but it helped everyone avoid the dreaded mud! Afterwards some of the group retired to Ranch Rudolf for a cold drink before heading home. It was another great day on the Boardman!
