10-10-10 Manistee, Old US 131 CG to Baxter Bridge

First, Kate Easling, Linda Pelkey & I hiked 6.9 miles on the North Country Trail from Dell Rd to the Old US 131 Campground, then Linda joined me for a tandem paddle back to Baxter Bridge. It warmed up so much we had to peel down to our short sleeve shirts. We stopped to take lots of photos of the orange, red & yellow reflections on the Manistee River along the way. Perfect shuttle: left Kate's car at the CG with our paddle gear, since she had to get to work by 3 PM, then dropped my van & trailer at Baxter Bridge, on the way to Dell Rd in Linda's car.
