Oct 9 Manistee: Hodenpyl to Red Bridge

Participants: Lois Goldstein, John Heiam, Jack Kurtz, Tracie Lord, Barb and Mike Rodenberg, Fred and Judy Swartz.

We had one of those rare warm sunny fall afternoons when the colors were at their peak.  We met at Spark's Restaurant in Mesick for lunch then headed over to the launch site.  There were a lot of people on the river and hiking along the banks.  Some were listening to the Michigan State vs Michigan game with headphones.  It was one of those days where you just had to be outside.  Afterwards, we went to the Southside Hideout in Buckley to catch the end of the football game and have supper.
