About this event
Meet at the canoe launch at Silver Creek Campground at 10:00 am. Bring waders if you have them, and a lunch. We will sample at Silver Creek, Elm Flats and Peterson. Ideally we need people to collect in the water who will provide samples to the people on shore who will pick the macroinvertebrates and preserve them. Collecting is done for an hour at each site and we usually finish around 3 pm. This is a chance to learn about the important critters inhabiting this lovely river.
Depending on the weather and water level we may move this into the weekend.
