September 7 - Lower Platte Clean-up

A beautiful day for a clean-up paddle on the lower Platte was enjoyed by eleven intrepid members of the Paddle Club.  Though relatively little trash was found on the river compared to most clean-ups, we retrieved slightly larger amounts of "stuff" as we divided into three search parties and circumnavigated Loon Lake.  Trip highlight: Tracie thoughtfully provided each of us with a home-made rich and delicious chocolate cupcake in honor of landmark(!) birthdays for BOTH Marv and Linda -- a gourmet treat on a weather-perfect outing!
