It was a beautiful day for a paddle. Joined by 8 other paddlers, we paddled from Paddle Brave Campground to Smith Bridge. The weather was warm, awesome fall colors, very quiet peaceful day on a pristine river. A few anglers, but we mostly had the river to ourselves. My second outing with TAPC and my first trip down the South Branch of the AuSable River, a perfect river for a new paddler to work on paddling skills.
A few of us took a short break to stop and enjoy a visit at the open air chapel along the river.
