On Saturday Oct 11 we took a delightful easy trip from Hodenpyl dam to Red Bridge. The river was swift and wide making the paddle easy despite a few headwinds. The colors were bold and the river was mostly empty. We lunched on a high bank under a magnificent yellow tree.
Our paddlers were Jim Breit, Pam Lassers, Gerald Wilgus, Sue Wilgus, and myself, Harold Lassers.
Jim and I got a few shots off, but mostly we just enjoyed this splendid day and easy stretch.
