Another Pine River cleanup today, from Elm Flats to Dobson. We didn't think we'd find much.
People: Lois & John, Tracie, Jackie, Jocelyn (and Max), Sue, Marlene (shuttle by Marv - what a guy!) and John M
Found lots of really old beer cans, plus the usual water bottles, fishing lures, etc. Sue did locate a speaker from an iPhone - not quite sure why someone thought to bring that on the river. Came across a newly downed tree that required a bit of clearing. Too tired to write more after stabbing cans on the river bottom, and being stabbed by thorns on a tree vine - even worse was John getting stabbed by the spear.

Of course there were some wild flowers (Crown Vetch, a member of the pea family)
There wasn't much trash, but with a lot of work we managed to get four large bags.
