We got going a bit earlier than other times we have done this stretch, and it turned out to be a great idea. The parking area at Red Bridge was crowded, but otherwise, we had to river to ourselves. A leisurely lunch break, three women checking out the side channel near the end, ice cream at Buckley (and John G bought a new bike next door to the ice cream store). Special thanks to Kati and Allen for shuttle services, and to Sue and John G for picking up trash.
