September 16 Unbeatable day on the Pine

The weather felt more like July than September, and we found bright pops of color along the first half of the trip.  Numerous large rocks and riffles kept the trip lively, and we all managed to stay dry. The river was otherwise quite free of obstructions, giving us time to take in the scenery. Val Miltner from PRPC provided us with shuttling between Walker and Dobson, to make the trip seamless. The day really was hard to beat!
