August 14 Pere Marquette, M-37 to Bowman Bridge

Five solo canoes: Lois, Jocelyn, Harold, Will & Glenn
Three kayaks: Jackie, Tracie, Marlene
One shuttle bunny: Marv
Pretty river, quite a few cottages, great big salmon, lots of gravel bars, a few paddlers and fishermen on a weekday, two lunch spots (we couldn't find the tables), a great swim break, another stop at Gleason's (they did have tables, but it would have been too long to wait), done at 3:22, easy paddling, lots of shade on a warm day, good company!
