Hot! But once on the water, nice and breezy, great tree cover, clear water with sand bottom

One solo canoe (Lois), the rest in kayaks
Anything noteworthy?
It was neat to paddle a river that is relatively close to home and yet has a rather remote feeling for almost all of its length. Five of us took two swim breaks; the water felt good give that the temps went up to the high 80's. No-one else was around and the trip which was billed as taking 3 hours finished in 2:56 (including swim breaks, with demos of ferrying).
