Mama deer and fawn, turtles. A free shuttle from PRPC. Found the usual stuff, including a very heavy hooded sweatshirt, a large punch bowl and institutional sized cottage cheese container. Karen got her first scratches on her new kayak, but learned all her skills well enough to do any northern Michigan river. She's a pro now! June was exceptionally helpful in coaching Karen off downed logs, and by the end, Karen was ferrying with the best of them.
