This will be a great opportunity to get out of town and enjoy a local river. This trip will cover the stretch on the Manistee River from the Sharon Road Canoe Launch to M-66. The river is wide with quite a few turns and perhaps some underwater obstacles. They shouldn't be a major problem. We will be paddling for about 4 hours, and we will stop along the way for lunch. The trip is an excellent one for families and if the warm weather continues, expect several authorized swim breaks!
