Join us for a peaceful early evening paddle along the shore of Boardman Lake.  We plan to be out on the water for about 2 hours. If anyone is interested, we can meet for dinner afterwards.

The TAPC has not offered many inland lake trips this season, so we are hosting this tour to see if there is interest in this type of outing.  We hope that this trip might appeal to some members who don't have the time or inclination to venture out on a river or Lake Michigan.  Everyone is welcome to come along!

Note: I checked the schedule for the "drinking and kayaking" groups, and they should be out of sight and sound by the time we launch.

A few years ago we took our 7 year old neighbor to Boardman Lake for his first canoe trip and he spotted a bald eagle!  Here is the trip report from a previous trip; check out the frolicking minks:

Directions:  Hull Park is at the north end of Boardman Lake, behind the main TC Library.  Drive to the traffic light at the corner of Woodmere and Hannah, just south of the library.  Head towards the lake, which is 1/2 block west of that intersection.  The road will curve north; continue one block to the parking lot next to the launch area.  There are bathrooms in the building next to the access.  Be careful when you cross the TART Trail.  See the MapQuest link above.
