Escape the madness of the National Cherry Festival!

This will be an open water paddle along the shore of East Grand Traverse Bay, paddling for 2 to 3 hours.  At the turn-around point, we plan to get out and explore the Petobego State Game Area, which was recently deeded to the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.  For more info see http://www.whitewatertownship.org/petobego-natural-area.html

Much of the shoreline is public land (plus a few million dollar homes), so we can pull over almost anywhere.  We will be staying relatively clos
e to shore.

The meeting time will be in your email confirmation.  Bring a kayak that's at least 12 feet long.  We can go out to eat afterwards.
