15th Boardman River Clean Sweep May 25, 2019 9:00am - Hull Park for Downtown crews 9:00am - Brown Bridge Landing for Upstream crews Be a little early if you possibly can. BRCS UPDATE: Look For Real-Time Updates here in red. Rain will end by 9:00am. Still a "GO" for today. Bring some Rain Gear - just in case I'm wrong. CU There. To make this easier: If you worked downtown last year, please do the same this year. If you worked upstream last year, please do the same this year. If you worked at the picnic, do the same as you did last year. The weather looks just OK for Saturday. It may be misty in the morning but it should be better as the day progresses. Once I am on the river, I can't answer my phone. If something happens and you need me, all I can say is do the best you can until I can get back to you. In most cases, I am of little use to anyone except those around me once I get in that canoe. See You At The Picnic. It's always fun to do this project with all the people going to different places and then having a big picnic and celebration. This is our 15th year and it is sure to be a really fun day. Most of us will meet at Brown Bridge Landing at 9:00am. Some will want to paddle downtown and they will meet at Hull Park at 9:00am. Bring your boats and gear and grabbers. We will have bags and what ever else you need. We need some very experienced paddlers to do the Beitner Rapids and new section down to Cass Rd Landing later on in the week. The picnic will be at the Nature Center. Come join in!
