When we got to our takeout, the trash that seemed so sparse was so heavy that we could not lift it and we had to put it in two bags to get it into John's truck.
We placed it in the empty DNR dumpster at Veteran's Park.
Thanks to those who spent their day helping us make the Upper Platte a nicer place to paddle. We'll hit this again on July 13 to get the debris out of the river for good.
