July 6, 2105 - Upper Platte River - More Debris Removed

July 6, 2015 - Begin Upper Platte River  Flood Debris Project

After the removal of the MONSTER DECK on June 22, we set our sights to
the docks that were upstream of Honor.

There were only three of them and they could be accessed on foot.

If we could get those out, then all the rest are in the town of Honor and we have
a home owner who will let us use his house to putin there in town.

So today, we took out three docks and two pieces of lumber that were upstream of Honor.

These two looked liked like this.

Now they look like this.
All this wood was re-purposed.  None went to the landfill.

This one looked like this.

 Now it looks like this.

This piece of lumber looked like this.

 Now looks like this.

I want to thank Mike Jones for helping me today.  My right knee is doing better but
I am not up to doing the sort of work Mike did today.

The final day of this project will be on July 13.
