We teamed up with these people to do this worthy project.
They took the project on this year and got a GLC grant for equipment and supplies.
Their Americorp volunteers did a wonderful job of organizing and pulling off the event.
There were about 33 people in the group.
Everyone did fine on the river and cooperated to make it a safe and fun event.
We had a north wind that helped us finish an hour earlier than last year.
In all, we removed 310 pounds of trash from the river.
We had a fun Burger King coupon picnic paid for by the BRCS when we were done.

A special word of praise for the job done by Mindee Goodrum,
the 23 year old Americorp volunteer who spearheaded this
project. Her skill and professionalism was very impressive.
